Twitter goes into meltdown as Xhaka repeats Hull heroics for Arsenal in EFL Cup [Best Tweets]

Granit Xhaka scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute for Arsenal in the EFL Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.

Xhaka scored in fantastic fashion as he took the ball up just inside the opponent’s half before launching an absolute stunner. The keeper got a hand to it but could not stop the ball as it swerved into the net.

Twitter went into meltdown as Arsenal fans praised the Swiss international and his heroics.

Meanwhile, the trolls were out in full force as they mocked Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba by comparing the Frenchman to Xhaka.

Even Piers Morgan, a very critical fan of the Gunners, did not shy away from praising the Swiss international.
