Anthony Martial has renewed terms with Manchester United, having signed a new long-term contract that ties him up at Old Trafford till June 30, 2024.
From arriving at Manchester United a relative unknown to being written off the English media; from a successful maiden season at Old Trafford to struggling under Jose Mourinho to becoming a pivotal player again, it has been quite a journey for Anthony Martial. The journey is now set to continue.
Manchester United have made an official statement to confirm that Martial has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal that ties him up to the Premier League heavyweights till the summer of 2014, with the Red Devils also having the option to extend it by a further year.
The player, who has found a second wind this season, has been one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s favourite players. Martial is also a favourite of the fans, who showered their praise on the Frenchman following the announcement of his new deal with Manchester United.
