Arsenal succumbed to an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool with the Gunners looking clueless for the better part of the game.

Arsenal went into the game with a point to prove after their defeat to Stoke and were handed a boost in the form of Alexis Sanchez. But, the game ended up being a heavily one-sided affair, with Liverpool running rampant at Anfield, finishing the game with a 4-0 scoreline.

No Arsenal player was spared on the day, with special emphasis on Mesut Ozil.

Arsene Wenger, though, bore the brunt again, with weird roster selections and a shambolic performance from his chosen starting eleven.

But, the main protagonist was made out to be Danny Welbeck, who was chosen in front of Lacazette and was largely disappointing.
