Joao Felix has revealed that he dreams about joining Barcelona. Atletico Madrid will demand €90 million to sell him this summer.

As quoted by 90min, Joao Felix has revealed his dream club. The Portuguese international has claimed that he wants to represent Barcelona one day. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will demand around €90 million to part ways with him in the ongoing transfer window, with Paris Saint-Germain keen on signing him.

Felix said, “I’d love to play for Barça. Barcelona has always been my first choice and I’d love to join Barça. It was always my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, it will be a dream come true for me.”

Joao Felix finds himself between a rock and a hard place when his career should be blossoming. Back from an underwhelming loan stint with Chelsea, the 23-year-old does not have a future at Atletico Madrid. He does not get along well with Diego Simeone, who has sanctioned his sale this summer.

The Portuguese international managed only four goals in 20 appearances for Chelsea. Felix even saw red in his debut game for Chelsea, who will not sign him permanently. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain will look to end the misery for the youngster and Atletico Madrid with a bid. But he dreams about joining Barcelona.

The Catalan giants were briefly interested in signing Felix from Atletico Madrid this summer. But Barcelona will not pursue the Chelsea flop in the ongoing transfer window. With Atletico Madrid demanding around €90 million to part ways with the player, a summer move is unlikely. But he could have been a viable target for the Blaugrana.

While Felix revels in a central role, Barcelona’s style of play would have made him an ideal fit on the right side of the offensive unit. But with the Portuguese international unlikely to realise his dream of representing Barcelona this summer, he is reportedly keen on joining Paris Saint-Germain.

But the Ligue 1 champions are not ready to fork out €90 million to secure Felix’s services this summer. Instead, they are offering a loan deal to land a player who should be Lionel Messi’s replacement at Parc des Princes. And it will be interesting to see if the 23-year-old joins PSG this summer.
