Cristiano Ronaldo’s woes in front of the goal continued on Sunday as Girona mustered a great comeback to steal a shock 2-1 win over Real Madrid.

Real Madrid seem to be in a slump, atleast as far as La Liga goes. Zinedine Zidane & co. have now fallen eight points behind Barcelona this early into the season after their latest shock, a 2-1 defeat away to Girona. Cristiano Ronaldo, too, continued his scoring woes after another night without a goal.

Fans were quick to criticise Ronaldo and while some had his back, mentioning the key passes and chances created by the Portuguese, majority highlighted the lack of goals and Real’s inability to cover for Ronaldo’s loss of form from other players.

Fans poked fun at Real Madrid as well, as they drifted to eight points from Barcelona.
