Liverpool consolidated fourth spot in the Premier League with after coming back from being 1-0 down to beat Burnley in the English Premier League. Roberto Firmino’s absence made it look like the hosts were out of ideas at times after Ashley Barnes opened the scoring in the 7th minute.

However, Georginio Wijnaldum equalised with the last kick of the first half before Emre Can netted the winner for Jurgen Klopp’s side later on in second half. The result means that Liverpool are now 5 points ahead of 5th placed Arsenal, who have 2 games in hand.

Twitter exploded after Ashley Barnes opened the scoring early in the first half and Matt Lowton was also on the receiving end of some praise for his brilliant ball into the box.

Liverpool fans also had plenty of praise for both Wijnaldum and Emre Can, with the stats out in force about the Dutchman’s performances this season.

There were plenty of stats on show as well about Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after the Reds managed to snatch a victory.
