Arsenal managed to salvage a draw from the jaws of defeat against Man United at Old Trafford. One particular moment featuring Aaron Ramsey and Jose Mourinho is now being hailed as ‘iconic’.

There’s no love lost between Arsenal and Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho. He managed their bitter local rivals Chelsea to much success, while his spat with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is one of the most controversial managerial rivalries around.

This was the first time that the Gunners faced Mourinho as Manchester United manager. While it wasn’t exactly a victory for Arsenal, they would definitely have been more pleased with the 1-1 draw.

A late header from Giroud sealed a point for the Gunners, but Welshman Aaron Ramsey turned out to be a hero as well. Although his performance was a bit creaky, Ramsey earned plaudits for laughing at Mourinho’s face when the Portuguese manager was infuriated at a penalty decision that went against United.
