AS Monaco have reportedly rejected a €110 million Manchester United bid for Arsenal target Kylian Mbappe while Real Madrid have not enquired for the player.

Spanish publication Cadena COPE have claimed that AS Monaco have rejected a whopping €110 million bid from Manchester United for their striking sensation Kylian Mbappe. The player has been harbouring interest from Arsenal, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and several other top clubs.

The report also states that, contrary to other reports, Real Madrid have not enquired about the player’s availability and that Manchester United are the only club to have tabled a bid at AS Monaco’s doorstep. As per the report, AS Monaco have rejected not one but two bids from the Red Devils.

AS Monaco rejected an €80 million offer earlier and the aforementioned €110 million offer, which was tabled by Manchester United after Mbappe’s performance in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against Manchester City.

Kylian Mbappe has quickly become the most talked about player in Europe at the moment. The French sensation has been hailed as the next ‘Thierry Henry’ and has been tipped for greatness by the French legend himself.

This season, Mbappe, all of 18, has 19 goals and 11 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for an AS Monaco side that boast of the best attacking record in all of Europe at the moment. The 18-year-old’s form has seen him getting called up to the National Team setup in the current international break.

And, as the player gets all set to make his senior international debut, there are a host of clubs circling the talent. Arsenal are all but set to lose either or both of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the summer and a talent like Kylian Mbappe would be the perfect addition to the squad.

However, it may depend on who is the Gunners’ boss going into the new season. If Wenger stays, we could very well see the 18-year-old arrive at Emirates, to follow a career path similar to Henry’s.

Real Madrid are known to always be on the lookout for wondrous talents to add to their squad. Karim Benzema has been linked with an exit in the summer and Mbappe is seen as a perfect replacement for his French compatriot. However, as per Cadena COPE, Real Madrid have not asked for the player, yet.

Although, they are interested in the player and could very well join the hunt for the player soon. Mbappe himself seems to a big fan of Real Madrid, having named 5 players, currently and formerly a part of Los Blancos setup, in his greatest XI.

Manchester United, though, seems to be the only team with real interest in the player. In fact, the Red Devils already tabled a record bid to AS Monaco and could be willing to raise their offer to an even greater price, if AS Monaco are willing to do a deal.

The French leaders, though, see the player as the flagbearer of their present and future success, both domestically and continentally, and seem to have no intention of selling the player right now. However, their stance may soon change and when it does, the Red Devils could be the front-runners to land the 18-year-old.
