Slovakian wonderkid Martin Murcko, who has already spent some time as a trialist for Manchester City, is currently on trial at Manchester United.

As per Manchester Evening News, Slovakian teenage wonderkid Martin Murcko is currently on trial at Manchester United. The midfielder, who is currently registered with Partizan Bardejov, earlier had a short stint with Manchester City and it looks like he has returned to Manchester, albeit to the red half of it.

Martin Murcko is a 16-year-old Slovakian talent who is plying his trade in the second tier of the Slovakian league. The midfielder came into everyone’s attention due to his exploits for the Slovakian side at the UEFA Under-17 Championships.

Murcko has shined brightly for the international side, with 4 goals in the three matches at the competition, while he also scored a hattrick in a 4-3 qualifying win against Northern Ireland. And now, Manchester United have taken the player up on trial to have a closer look at the 16-year-old.

He had a trial at Manchester City earlier in the season, which is well documented on his Instagram profile.

Manchester United recently signed a Polish scout, Radoslaw Kucharski, to speed up the recruitment of the best talents from Eastern Europe and it already looks to be paying dividends.

The player also uploaded a picture on his Instagram account, holding the recently won EFL Cup, which confirms his presence at Manchester United.

Murcko is the latest prospect to be on trial at Manchester United. The 16-year-old follows Levent Gundogan, who was on a six-week long trial at the club, before the Welshman was snapped up by the Red Devils after having impressed during the tenure of his trial.

No one knows the reason as to why the trial with Manchester City did not work out for the player but he could still end up in Manchester; if he delivers this time.

Murcko would hope to replicate Levent Gundogan and many before him that have managed to earn a deal at Manchester United through trials. However, only time will tell if the player does end up at the club on a permanent basis.
