Bayern Munich have reportedly rekindled their interest in Tottenham sensation Dele Alli, who is also a priority target for Barcelona and Real Madrid

The Times are reporting that Bayern Munich are back in for Tottenham sensation Dele Alli. The English international had been on the Bavarians’ radar for a while before the links took a backseat. But now, Bayern Munich are eyeing a summer swoop for the attacker. But so are Barcelona, Real Madrid and several others.

Dele Alli’s eye for goal while playing as a an attacking midfielder has caught the attention of every top European club as well as the cash-rich Chinese Super League. While many players are hyped by the media, Alli’s numbers speak enough of his potential.

11 goals and 3 assists in just 22 Premier League goes to show the prodigious talent that the 20-year-old is, especially when you consider that the current campaign is just his second season in the English top-flight.

And the performances have put Alli top on every Elite club’s shortlist. Barcelona and Real Madrid are both ready to dole out the money in order to land the 20-year-old, with both the clubs looking towards a summer deal for the English international that has created a stir with his scintillating displays.

And now Bayern Munich, who were linked with Alli even before, have re-entered the race. Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure has seen Thomas Muller lose his prolific form and Dele Alli would serve as a direct replacement to the German while also lowering the average age of the squad.

But Dele Alli’s pursuit could cost a fortune. Daniel Levy is thought to value the player upwards of £85 million and perhaps even more than Gareth Bale, which means Bayern Munich would have to break their club transfer record in order to land the 20-year-old.

Bayern, though, will have several rivals to beat in the pursuit of the MK Dons academy graduate. Apart from the Spanish duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain have been linked while Manchester United have also been credited with interest in the versatile attacker.

It is going to be an interesting summer transfer window as teams battle it out for Dele Alli. Who knows, given the current progress of Tottenham in the domestic and European scene, Alli might just decide to stick to White Hart Lane and create a legacy.
