Transfer News: Bayern Munich to complete permanent transfer of Kingsley Coman from Juventus

Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to make the loan move of Juventus player Kingsley Coman permanent in the coming days.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are close to converting Kingsley Coman’s loan move from Juventus into a permanent deal, according to club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Coman arrived last season from Juventus on a two-year loan with a clause that gave the Bavarians the opportunity to sign the attacker on a permanent basis for €21m.

French publication L’Equipe have now reported that the club are close to securing the services of Coman after being impressed with the youngster’s debut season in the Bundesliga. Rummenigge confirmed that the Bavarian giants are close to finalising the transfer of the France international.

“The transfer is imminent. We are more than satisfied with Kingsley’s performances,” he said, as quoted by L’Equipe.

Coman also featured in six matches at Euro 2016 for the hosts and has quickly become a regular both domestically and for the national team, dislodging comparatively bigger and more established names in the process.

The report by L’Equipe stated that Coman is due to sign a five-year contract with Bayern Munich in the near future. The French youngster had earlier opened up about his desire to extend his stay at the Allianz Area, stating that he felt happy to be with one of the best teams in the world. Coman added that he hopes to stay with Bayern for many years to come. In news that will please him as well as the club’s supporters, it looks like the Bayern hierarchy are keen to secure a deal for a player who is undoubtedly one of the most talented young footballers in Europe at present.
