Eden Hazard Talks PSG, Real Madrid Interest, Says He Doesn’t Know If He’ll Be With Chelsea Next Season

Under-performing Chelsea star Eden Hazard has set tongues wagging with his recent interview with a French publication ahead of the Blues’ Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Belgian winger has not had an indifferent season at Stamford Bridge, and he was even mocked by the Blues fans as one of the three ‘rats’ in the team following the departure of Jose Mourinho. All of these factors have lead to speculation about a possible move away from the club and his most recent interview will definitely add fuel to the fire.

Hard to say no to a Champions League club like PSG

During an interview with the French publication Le Parisien, ahead of Chelsea’s match against PSG, Hazard did not do much to dispel the rumors of an imminent move away from the London club.

“No I do not know (where he’ll play next season). Because it is always uncertainty in football. If we stick to the contract, I’ll still be at Chelsea next season.” the 24-year-old told Le Parisien.

Hazard took it one step further by mentioning Champions League football, which the Blues may not be a part of next season. Upon being asked about a possible move to PSG, he said, “Hard to say no to PSG , or any other team capable of winning the Champions League . Now , PSG is part of this category. And for me, winning the Champions League is the main objective . But for now , I do not dwell on it.”

Could this be a come-get-me plea?

With his recent comments about PSG and his constant public admiration of Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, which he spoke about again in this interview, it looks like the Belgian winger is making it very obvious that he is willing to move away from his current club Chelsea.

However, Hazard will cost much more than the 32 million pounds that the Blues paid for him in 2012. The Belgian winger was viewed as one of the best young players in the world last season. In addition to this, his contract with Chelsea runs till 2020. Transfermarkt.com currently rate the player at 54 million pounds, but with the aforementioned facts coming into play, Hazard could well demand a price upwards of 75 million pounds.
