Arsenal midfielder Thomas Rosicky suffered yet another injury setback after limping off in the second half during his side’s 2-1 win over Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The former Czech International made his first appearance of the season after coming on as a substitute in the 71st minute against Burnley on Saturday. However, Rosicky suffered a thigh muscle injury after coming on and initial reports emerging from England suggest that he will consequently miss 6 weeks of action.

Rosicky has not played first team football for the Gunners since undergoing groin surgery in the summer. This latest injury comes after a series of setbacks suffered by the Arsenal midfielder who has managed to make just 62 appearances for Arsenal in the last 4 years.

Rosicky is out of contract next summer and this latest injury setback might spell curtains for his Arsenal career. Arsenal fans, no stranger to the injury prone nature of their players, came out in huge numbers on Twitter to voice frustration over Rosicky’s latest injury.
