Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Tottenham: Tomiyasu in a back-three; Saka starts

Bukayo Saka is fit to start, and Ben White is on the bench against Tottenham as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta fields a back three with Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tweaked the team’s shape ahead of the north London derby against Arsenal with a back-three in place. The Gunners boss has decided to play three central defenders, with Takehiro Tomiyasu playing alongside Rob Holding and Gabriel. Ben White, who has missed the last three games, returns to the squad and will be an option off the bench.

Bukayo Saka is fit to start, and from the looks of it, the England international will take up a hybrid wing-back position depending on whether Arsenal are attacking or defending. Cedric Soares takes up a role on the right, with the 20-year-old on the left.

Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka will hold the fort in central midfield for the Gunners, with Martin Odegaard playing further ahead in the advanced playmaking role.

Gabriel Martinelli is selected to start ahead of Emile Smith Rowe in Arsenal’s attack, with Eddie Nketiah slotting in as the central striker for the Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel; Cedric, Elneny, Xhaka, Saka; Odegaard, Nketiah, Martinelli
