Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Watford: Gunners remain unchanged; Smith Rowe not in squad

Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged lineup for the Watford clash, while Emile Smith Rowe misses out of the squad yet again.

Arsenal have named a strong starting eleven, unchanged from the last game, as the squad travels to Vicarage Road to take on Watford. Mikel Arteta has kept faith in the team that started most recently and has gone with consistency ahead of the crucial period of their season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu misses out yet again as he is yet to recover from a calf problem. After some impressive performances, Cedric Soares keeps his place at right-back, with Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney completing the backline. Aaron Ramsdale is stationed behind them between the posts.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka continue their solid partnership in central midfield, with Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny acting as deputies on the bench. Martin Odegaard will start in a slightly advanced role, as he is often the creative hub of the Arsenal side.

Bukayo Saka starts on the right side of the front three, with Nicolas Pepe an option from the bench yet again. Alexandre Lacazette leads the line for Arsenal against Watford, with Gabriel Martinelli keeping his place on the left side of the attack. Emile Smith Rowe misses out yet again, although the reason for his absence from the squad remains unknown.
