Adam Lallana returns to the starting lineup for Liverpool in their first Premier League match of 2018 as the Reds face Burnley.

Simon Mignolet has been handed the captain’s armband by Jurgen Klopp – a decision that might not be popular among the Liverpool fans. Elsewhere, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez make up either side of the back four, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also coming back into the playing eleven.

Adam Lallana starts after what has been a gruesome and long injury layoff while Dominic Solanke benefits from Mohamed Salah’s injury.
