Leicester City and Arsenal played out a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. One of the biggest highlights of the game was when Mark Clattenburg refused to give what appeared to many a clear penalty.

In the dying stages of the game, Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa wormed his way past Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin. The Spaniard, however, clipped him on the heels and brought him down in the penalty area, an error which referee Mark Clattenburg felt did not deserve a penalty.

The decision has provoked criticism from fans and pundits alike.

The decision-making by the English referee has now prompted many to sarcastically label him as Arsenal’s new summer signing.
