Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly received their squad numbers at Manchester United. But all the buzz was about the signing that hasn’t been announced yet – the prodigal son, Paul Pogba.

Manchester United recently unveiled their official squad numbers for the 2016-17 season and there are a few notable changes. French sensation Anthony Martial has taken up the number 11 shirt, relinquishing the prized number 9 to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The other new signings Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were given numbers 3 and 22 respectively. Also, Memphis Depay somehow managed to retain the no. 7 shirt.

However, fans were abuzz about a player who isn’t even in the squad. The availability of the number 6 has led many to believe that it is another sign of the impending arrival of midfielder Paul Pogba from Juventus.

The 23-year old Frenchman will have some big shoes to fill though.
