Manchester United registered a narrow 1-0 loss against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, and moved down a spot on the Premier League table.
The Red Devils failed to win their fifth consecutive match in all competitions. Louis van Gaal faced another league upset as Juan Mata was handed a red card for a second bookable offence on ex-United midfielder Darren Fletcher, who currently captains the Hawthorns.
A free signing for West Bromwich Albion in last season’s winter transfer window, Fletcher’s diving antics didn’t please Manchester United fans at all, as they gave him a piece of their mind on Twitter.
