According to reports, Manchester United . have opened negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over Harry Kane at A?40 million after Wayne Rooney urged Louis Van Gaal to sign the English striker.

With Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persiea s tryst with Old Trafford coming to an end, Manchester United are reportedly in the market for a new striker and it seems that they have identified Harry Kane as a summer target who is likely to figure in the cluba s long term plan.

Harry Kane had a successful debut season with Tottenham Hotspur and given his young age, he is likely to command a very high price in the transfer market.
