Aaron Ramsey’s goal vs Galatasaray is in the running for the UEFA.com Goal of the season alongside Ronaldo’s strike at Anfield, Neymar’s goal at Camp Nou against PSG, and Messi’s brilliant solo strike against Bayer Munich.

 

Ramsey had scored a stunning long range when Arsenal faced Galatasaray in the Group D Champions League tie and the goal was good enough to be nominated alongside some brilliant strikes.

Most notably, the wonder goal by Ronaldo at Anfield that saw him get a standing ovation from his former team Manchester United’s arch rivals.

The Real Madrid superstar, whose effort has already been chosen as . Champions League Goal of the Season, is aiming to win an award that will be voted for by UEFA.com users in a poll concluding on 25th August.

The nomination also includes Neymar’s PSG goal at Camp Nou which was brilliantly created by Andres Iniesta’s magical feet, running past the entire midfield to set up Neymar who rounded off the keeper to score.

The list also consists of Leo Messi’s stunning strike that literally floored Jerome Boateng and the chip to finish it left Manuel Neuer for dead.

The candidates for the awards are:

Vasyl Kobin (Shakhtar Donetsk), Cristiano Ronaldo (Ral Madrid), Ramsey (Arsenal), Neymar and Messi (Barcelona), Lamela (Tottenham), Antunes (Dynamo Kyiv), Muirhead (Scotland), Toloba (Belgium) and De Bruyne (Wolfsburg).
