Real Madrid CF’s third goal of the evening against a lively Shakhtar Donetsk side came courtesy of a lovely curling shot by 23-year-old Spanish right-back Dani Carvajal.
Dani Carvajal scored only his 7th senior goal for Los Blancos in their 4-3 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League. After Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric had given Real a 2-0 lead, Carvajal’s curling, looping lob from just inside the penalty area put them 3-0 up. Ronaldo would go on to score again before a flurry of goals in the second half gave Shakhtar a much more respectable scoreline.
