Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in the world to be awarded four Golden Boots.

The 30-year-old was presented with the award on the back of a prolific campaign last season, which saw the Portuguese score 48 goals in 35 games.

Cristiano first won the award during his time with Manchester United in 2008. The striker has won the competition thrice since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2009. However, the striker is not yet satisfied and aims to win the fifth and the sixth Golden Boot shortly.

Ronaldo was handed the Golden Boot by Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez, with manager Rafa Benitez also in attendance.
