Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Real Madrid but Valencia produced a stunning comeback to end the 22 game winning streak of Los Blancos.
Real Madrid travelled to Valencia to continue their winning streak of 22 games but they were greeted by well organized Los Che, who played an aggressive game from start to end.
Cristiano Ronaldo put Real Madrid ahead in the 14th minute by scoring through a penalty. Real Madrid maintained their lead till the half time but Valencia came back strongly to score two goals in the 52nd and 65th minute.
Sergio Ramos, Ronaldo and Isco all went close to finding a late leveller, but Valencia defended intelligently to stop the attacks of Real Madrid. Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos praised the efforts of Valencia after the game.
