Valencia left-back Jose Luis Gaya, who has been linked to Real Madrid, has refused to extend his contract as he wants to lower his buy-out clause.

And now, recent reports are suggesting that left-back Jose Luis Gaya will be the next summer recruitment for a Los Blancosa .

His contract with Valencia is due to expire in 2018 and not surprisingly, Valencia are keen to extend his stay at the club. However, the negotiations of a new contract have stalled as the club and the playera s representatives have failed to reach an agreement.
According to several reports from Spain, including COPE and Valencia’s SuperDeporte, the club have offered Gaya a new contract that will see his buy-out clause raised from a 18 million to a 40 million. It is believed that the defender wants the buy-out clause to not be raised more than a 30 million.
Real Madrid are believed to be on the look-out for fresh talent as they might be ready to offload Fabio Coentrao in the summer. With the purchase of Danilo, Real Madrid have made it clear that they are looking to get rid of deadwood like Arbeloa and inject the squad with fresh, young energy.
