Real Madrid Target, Paul Pogba, Is Worth More Than ai??i??100 Million, Says Agent

Will He Return To Old Trafford?

Paul Pogbaa s agent suggested that the midfielder is worth more than a 100 million and revealed that Real Madrid rejected the Frenchman twice.

Midfield sensation Paul Pogba is generating more and more interest with each passing day. The speculation about the Frenchmana s future at Juventus refuses to die down and all the speculation suggests that he will leave the club this summer.

In an interview with Marca, Raiola said: “For me, he is the flagship of a new generation, the star, the leader. Today, there is nobody like Pogba. Including Barca, there are only seven clubs that can afford him.”

Pogbaa s agent Mino Raiola had previously indicated that the midfielder might leave Juventus at the end of the season. If the 21-year old wants to leave the club, a dearth of top European clubs will be willing to fight it out for his signature. Amongst all the top European clubs, Real Madrid seem to be the hot-favourites to prise the youngster.

Pogba joined Juventus from Manchester United for free in 2011. The Frenchman chose to leave United after failing to secure a first-team role under Sir Alex Ferguson. Since joining Juventus, Pogba has been very impressive playing in Italy alongside Vidal and Pirlo.

Questioned whether Pogba had become too big for Juventus, Raiola said:

“Perhaps, yes, but when he was just 17, he turned down Ferguson. He chose Juve, as did [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.”

Top clubs in Europe, such as Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona are believed to be keen on signing Pogba, and Raiola cleared that he will not be making a lot of effort to make Pogbaa s move to Bernabeu happen.

Asked about Real Madrid, he said: “Back when they had their chance, they didn’t really know who Pogba was. Other clubs did. Real didn’t want to pay 10 million euros for him and just a year ago refused to pay 30 million euros for him.

“We spoke in Qatar. ‘Why pay 30 million euros if soon he can come for free?’ they asked. He ended up renewing his contract.

“If they want Pogba, they can call me. I’m not going to call anyone there. He’s worth more than 100 million euros, but the price will be set by the club that buys him.

“I’m in contact with all of them, except Real Madrid. My name is not Jorge Mendes [the Portuguese agent who represents players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and James Rodriguez], who manages Real Madrid far too well.”
