Real Madrid Agree ai??i??40 Million Fee For Manchester United’s David De Gea

Real Madrid have agreed a deal worth a 40 million for the transfer of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea from Manchester United according to Spanish daily El Confidencial, with super agent Jorge Mendes said to be in London to finalize the deal.

The report further divulges the numbers behind the agreed deal, and claim that the move will be official once United give the green light. De Gea, has agreed a six year contract, worth a reported a 5m per year, declining a more significant offer in the region of a 8m from the Red Devils.

However, the finalization of the a 40 million deal could hinge on the proposed move of Legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas to FC Porto. De Gea, regarded as one of the best keepers in the world at the moment, would bring back the solidarity to Madrid’s . back-line, something which has been missing in the past couple of seasons, with Casillas struggling between the posts.

De Gea moved to Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2010, and it has been well documented since then that he preferred the lifestyle back home and was inclined towards a potential switch.

Manchester United earlier saw a similar bid for Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, rejected by the Spanish club, and it was believed that the move for 24-year-old De Gea could also depend on Sergio Ramos’ switch the other way. Reports however since then have indicated that Ramos has decided to extend his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu after the club agreed to match his wage demands.

Although, United do have Victor Valdes in their ranks, but they have been linked with a number of keepers in the recent week, with Fernando Muslera and Hugo Lloris said to be their prime targets to compete with Valdes for the starting spot.
