Lucas Leiva Reveals He Almost Left Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC midfielder Lucas Leiva has revealed that he was close to leaving the Reds this season, but is now fully committed to the Merseyside giants.

Lucas’ name has been constantly linked with an exit from Liverpool FC over the past few seasons. Inter Milan and Besiktas are the teams that the Brazil midfielder has been linked with off late, and the player was close to joining Besiktas on loan in the current transfer window as per reports.

However, following injury to Jordan Henderson, Lucas played the Arsenal FC game for the Reds and had a typical combative evening to help shut out the Gunners.

Lucas reveals he was close to leaving

Lucas has admitted that he was close to leaving Liverpool, but says that he is now very much committed to the cause at Anfield.
