Liverpool are confident of beating Manchester United on Sunday, claims midfielder Adam Lallana.
The Reds are sitting in fifth place, two points behind their arch-rivals Manchester United and a victory on Sunday at Anfield could help them leapfrog their opponents into fourth place. Liverpool have been unbeaten in the Premier League since their 3-0 loss to United at Old Trafford in December.
Lallana said, a Psychologically for us it is massive. If we win we go above United and we get one foot into the top four.

However, the midfielder did insinuate that winning the game will not guarantee them a top 4 place since there are going to be plenty of twists and turns before the end of the season.

Meanwhile goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has stressed the important of staying focused for the game as he knows, and rightly so, there is going to be a big build-up to it.
He said, “We know there will be a huge build up, but as professional football players we can’t get carried away. We have to focus on our jobs, because as a game it is three points to win or to lose.
“If we are going to make more of it than it is we might get flustered or carried away with things, so we have to address it in a professional manner and make sure we focus on our job, rather than what the opponent does or how big a game it is.”
