Jose Mourinho Hit With Fresh Fine And One Match Stadium Ban; Will Miss The Clash Against Stoke City

Jose Mourinho hit with a fresh fine and one-match suspension for his misdemeanours during half time at Upton Park in Chelsea FC’s 2-1 loss to West Ham United.

The Chelsea FC manager is all set to miss the match against Stoke City, which is being reported as his last chance to resurrect his Chelsea FC career, after the Football Association charged Mourinho for his behavioural indiscretions during half time against West Ham United.

The Portuguese manager, who has been involved in a number of incidents this season, was informed on Monday that he has been banned for one match and has also been fined A?40,000 for his misconduct, according to The Telegraph.

Mourinho, who accepted the charge of behavioural misconduct, is reported to have ranted during half time at Upton Park against referee Jonathan Moss and is alleged to have said “Arsene was right, you are f****** soft”. The Portuguese consequently received a red card and was banished to the stands ahead of the second half.

The Portuguesea s dire season doesna t seem to have any end in sight, with this being the second major fine of the season sanctioned against him. Mourinho had previously been sanctioned with a suspended one-game stadium ban and A?50,000 fine for his rant about referees being a afraida to give decisions in favour of Chelsea. Mourinho has since appealed against the suspended stadium ban and fine and is likely to known the outcome of his appeal on Tuesday.

Mourinho vs The World

.

Mourinho likes to create a siege mentality in his squad and that has proven to be effective for him in various clubs, but at both Real Madrid and now at Chelsea, the third season in charge has proven to be troublesome for him.

While he may be the king of press conferences during good times, the 52-year-old has proven to be a sore loser as he leaves no excuses for his poor results in his attempt to create a siege mentality. There is always a risk of the players growing weary of this strategy however, and although it may be effective in the short term, it isn’t suitable for the long term, which needs a more caring hand.
