IvanoviAi?? slated by Chelsea FC fans for yet another poor performance; supporters call for return of John Terry [Tweets]

Chelsea FC suffered their first defeat in the UEFA Champions League after crashing to a 2-1 defeat against FC Porto in their Group G meeting on Tuesday

The Blues had the opportunity to cement their place at the top of the group with a win against their most likely challengers for top spot in FC Porto, instead, they fell to a 2-1 defeat after another defensive horror-show that allowed the Portuguese side to snatch all three points.

Chelsea FC captain John Terry was once again left out of the starting line-up by manager Jos Mourinho, as were first-team regulars Eden Hazard and Nemanja Mati , while Oscar. Radamel Falcao and LoA?c R my were left out of the squad altogether.

The changes ultimately did not affect the overall performance of the side, or indeed the result, and the Blues must now look to get maximum points against Dynamo Kyiv in the next two fixtures to ensure they top their group.

Ivanvovi criticised again, fans want John Terry back

Serbian right-back and Chelsea FC vice-captain Branislav Ivanovi has had a torrid season thus far, and things did not improve for him on Tuesday night when he came up against the pace and trickery of FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.

Blues fans were once again critical of the 31-year-old, while also calling for John Terry to return to the Chelsea FC starting line-up. Many others were unconvinced by manager Jos Mourinho’s post-match analysis, with the Portuguese insisting that his side had a good performance apart from two ‘ridiculous’ mistakes.
