FC Barcelona Tracking 17 Year Old Wonder Kid Gerson Of Fluminense

FC Barcelona are currently banned from signing any new player from the transfer market. But that doesna t mean there is total inactivity in the boardroom of the Catalans. FC Barcelona are serious in their chase of 17 year old wonder kid of Fluminense, Gerson, and they are certain to make an offer for the player in January.

It has been the policy of FC Barcelona to sign the most talented youngsters from across the globe and nurture them at La Masia to minimize the spending big on the established stars.

However, this transfer market practices of FC Barcelona came under the scanner of football governing body FIFA last year and they were sanctioned a yearlong ban, which prevents them from signing any new player until January 2016.

Considering this transfer ban of FIFA, the management of FC Barcelona has already started making plans for the January transfer window and they are hot on pursuit of Fluminense wonder kid Gerson.

Gerson, 17, is widely considered as one of the most talented youngster of Brazilian football. Gerson started his professional career at Fluminense and has now become the backbone of their midfield.

The huge talent of Gerson has not gone unnoticed in Europe as two of the biggest clubs of the continent, FC Barcelona and Juventus, are tracking the progress of the youngster.

Juventus is the first European club to take the notice of Gersona s talent and they even have started the talks with his father, Marcos Antonio da Sila, for the potential transfer in this summer.

Marcos Antonio is currently in Turin to discuss the potential transfer to Juventus. But the management of FC Barcelona is confident of stealing Gerson under the noses of Juventus.
