FC Barcelona are playing against Man City tonight but Luis Suarez is more excited about the Clasico against Real Madrid it seems as he has said that Sundaya s game is a like a finala .
The Blaugrana has won 26 out of their last 27 games and they just recently have overtaken Real Madrid in the La Liga points table. However, the lead of FC Barcelona is of just one point and their clash against Real Madrid is being labelled as a title decider.
FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is also very excited about the Clasico clash and has said that it is like a final.
“It’s a final. Real Madrid are always Real Madrid,a said Luis Suarez. He was speaking to Marca.
“You need to enjoy it and concentrate on trying to do as well as possible to try and win the game. That sort of game means a lot for morale. In terms of motivation, it gives you a lot of confidence and we hope that it will be a good show for spectators”.
“I remember the FC Barcelona-Real Madrid game that ended 5-0 because I was in the stadium. It’s those sort of moments that live long in the memory: seeing how people celebrated, while the players also celebrated on the pitch, that was incredible”.
The FC Barcelona attacker was full of praise for Real Madrid.
“Obviously Real Madrid are Real Madrid. You don’t need to say anything else because everyone knows the quality of players they have from the midfield forwards, but we also know the defensive weaknesses they have and we need to try and take advantage of them”.
Luis Suarez believes that nowadays, there is lot of competition in La Liga and Clasico might not be a title decider.
“It’s a final because Real Madrid-FC Barcelona games are always played in that spirit, with a lot of intensity and strength. They are very intense games, but we are also aware that anything can happen these days in ‘La Liga’. What’s great about ‘La Liga’ nowadays is that every team provides tough competition and I don’t think that the ‘ClA?sico’ will actually be all that decisive”.
