Fantasy Premier League Insights: Martial, Zouma The Stars Of The Week

Another week of the Premier League has ended. We look at the star performers from this gameweek you need to keep an eye on, for the next.

1 a Anthony Martial: Value A?8.2 | Manchester United | GW Points: 12

Anthony Martial has now three goals in three games for Manchester United in all competition. With the triad of strikes coming in two Premier League outings.

With three goals from four shots, Martial has been deadly effective and is revelling in the role given to him as a central striker who drifts on to the left-hand side of the attack.

Next Game: Sunderland at Old Trafford

THT GW 7 suggestion: 5/5 – A must have in the XI. Get him before the price bloats up further.

2 a Kurt Zouma: Value: A?5.4 | Chelsea FC | GW Points: 15

Clean sheet, goal bonus, performance bonus a if you would have taken Kurt Zouma in your XI, you have an incredible knack of picking a wild card.

Zouma garnered the highest points in the week in the FPL. With Chelsea FC not in the greatest of forms, certainly not defensively, one would either have to be quite the gambler of the over-optimistic Chelsea FC fan to draft him in the XI. Nonetheless, you hit the jackpot if you have him in the XI.

Next Game: Newcastle United at St. Jamesa Park

THT GW 7 suggestion: 4/5 a Chelsea FC is back in form and should get back in their defensive shape again. The derby win will give a massive lift to the players and while they were helped with the sending off, expect Jose Mourinhoa s men to make the best of the rub of the green falling their way. That is what champions do.

3 – Riyad Mahrez: Value A?6.4 | Leicester City | GW Points: 11

If you do not have Mahrez in your FPL XI by now, please stop playing. It is not for you. The FPL point-magnet once again showed his class when he scored one and assisted another for Leicester City in their 2-2 draw to Stoke.

This was Mahreza fifth goal and second assist in six Premier League outings. And the way he is playing right now, there are now signs of slowing down.

Next Game: Arsenal FC at King Power Stadium

THT GW 7 suggestion: 5/5 – Good luck Nacho Monreal.

4 a Odion Ighalo: Value A?5.1 | Watford | GW Points: 13

The Watford striker scored In his second game running to help pile on more misery on the hapless Newcastle United at St. Jamesa Park.

The Watford mana s brace meant he now has four goals in six Premier League outings. His goals are vital for Watford, which means, the performance bonus is usually hand-in-hand with goals.

Next Game: Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road

THT GW 7 suggestion: 3/5 – Alan Pardewa s team may not be in the best of the form, but expect them to make it difficult for Watford next week. There might be better options for next week. Keep an eye on for our GW 7 Preview where we will suggest players for you.

5 a Graziano Pelle: Value A?7.9 | Southampton | GW Points: 13

After making a fine start to his career in the Premier League last season, Pelle had a wretched run of form for a while. The Italian went goalless in his first three Premier League outing this season too. However, the last three games have seen him notch up three goals and one assist with Southampton also picking up some sort of form after a stuttering start.

Having lost narrowly to Manchester United and Pelle grabbing a brace, expect the Saints midfield and attack to spring in life in their next game. Pellea s improvement in form could make him the prime candidate to benefit from the improvement in Saints attack.

Next Game: Swansea City at St. Marya s

THT GW 7 suggestion: 3/5 a Calculated Gamble. Swansea are a tough team to play against, but Southampton are at home and will want to bounce back from their loss against United having displayed some good football at the weekend.
