Chelsea FC : Cuadrado Agent To Discuss Interest From Inter, Roma

After joining Chelsea FC in January, Cuadrado could already be heading back to Italy having struggled to make any sort of an impact according to reports in Italy.

The Colombian winger struggled to find a regular place in the Chelsea starting XI but his strong performances for Fiorentina make him a target for Serie A clubs. His agent Alessandro Lucci will meet with Chelsea FC in the next few days to discuss the situation of the player who joined for a 32 million and is catching the attention of Inter Milan who are rebuilding under Roberto Mancini following a disappointing season. Roma, who finished 2nd in the Serie A, are also looking to boost their team ahead of the Champion’s League campaign in 2015-16. They duo, along with Napoli have already made initial inquiries for the winger. .

Chelsea are heavily linked with Griezmann and could sell Cuadrado to fund the signing of the France International who will cost the club A?43 million which is believed to be his release clause at Atletico Madrid.

Cuadrado compared to Chelsea target Grizmann and other Chelsea wide men

Cuadrado has no goals or assist at Chelsea FC in the league. As illustrated in the comparison above, if Chelsea do get anything close to the a 32 million they paid to Fiorentina, it will be hard to resist the offer given that Griezmann will be much better fit in a team that will benefit from the end product that the Frenchman brings to his Atletico Madrid side. On loan Salah has been very impressive for Fiorentina in terms of chance creation. Cuadrado has struggled in England as evident with him not having a single statistic better than the trio in the above attributes.

Chelsea have reiterated in the past their commitment to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) and will need to sell some players should they want to land Griezmann within the restrictions. Cuadrado could be one of them.
