According to reports in Spain, Chelsea FC are considering cutting their losses on new recruit Pedro already, with the former FC Barcelona star struggling for form and reportedly regretting his decision to make the move to Stamford Bridge
Unfortunately for Chelsea FC, Pedro’s d but was just a flash in the pan, with the former FC Barcelona winger failing to really make an impact following one stunning performance. With competition for places in the starting XI high, the Spaniard has struggled for form and fitness.
Jos Mourinho has played him with Willian on occasion, with Eden Hazard being dropped to the bench, and although Pedro has been able to contribute more defensively, the Chelsea FC attack has suffered.
Chelsea FC to cut losses on Pedro?
According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon (via Daily Express), Roman Abramovich and the Blues’ board are already considering cutting their losses on Pedro, who has struggled to make meaningful contributions despite his extremely promising start in Chelsea FC blue.

The report claims that Jos Mourinho is planning a clear-out in the upcoming transfer window, with Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Pedro at risk of being cut loose. Pedro himself is reportedly not happy at Chelsea FC, but the feeling is apparently mutual, and the Blues could even consider selling him for a fee considerably lower than what they paid for him.
Immediate transfer extremely unlikely
Fortunately for fans of Pedro who want the Spain international to remain at SW6, Don Balon is not known to be a particularly reliable source of information. In fact, quite the opposite is true. The news outlet have been gaining a reputation for some truly absurd rumours of late.

Even though the British media might pick up on some of these on particularly slow news days, it would be safe to disregard anything from this source. Realistically, Mourinho needs a player like Pedro this season, particularly with Eden Hazard and Oscar looking out of form, and Kenedy yet to truly see any sort of regular playing time.
Although the reports about planned changes in the January transfer window have also come from some of the more reliable sources — including Standard Sport (a London based publication), Telegraph and the Guardian — Pedro is unlikely to be involved.
