The ratings are calculated by looking at the performances of clubs from domestic leagues around Europe in European competitions in the last five years.
The Bundesliga will overtake the Premier League in UEFA’s coefficient rankings for the first time in 15 years at the end of the season.
The revelation comes just one day after Everton’s Europa League elimination , which means there will be no English representative in the quarter-final of a European competition for the first time since 1993.
England are currently second in the coefficient rankings behind leaders Spain,who have a huge gap at the top and Germany in third – but not for long.
Germany are guaranteed to displace England regardless of how Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg perform in the remainder of the European season.

This is the second time in three years, where any team from England have to failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Each team – in the Champions League and Europa League – is awarded with one point for a draw and two points for a win.Then at the end of the season, the totals are added up and divided by the number of teams that represented their country in that given season.
When next seasons rankings are finalised, the 2010/2011 season – a fruitful one for English clubs in Europe – will not be taken into consideration, which will see the Premier League lose a vast amount of points.
The 2010-11 season saw three English Clubs in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and this year when the ratings will be calculated that year will not be considered.
The next year saw chelsea being at the top of Europe , winning the Champions League , but it wasn’t a successfull year for English clubs in Europe as Chelsea were the only English club in the quarter-finals in Europe that year.
The 2012-13 season saw two clubs making it to the pre-quarters of the UEFA Champions League and both of them being knocked out in that round while three teams made it to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
The 2013-14 season saw only two English teams making it to the quarter-final stage of Europe.
However this season English clubs have failed miserably in the European stage and this season’s dissapointing run for English teams, will see the Country lose their coveted second spot to the German’s.
At the end of the current season, England will have 62.034 points while Germany, in the worst case scenario, will have 62.892 points.
