Wales Manager Reveals Gareth Bale Is In No Rush To Leave Real Madrid

the absence of Bale and Rodriguez in the starting line up has left Real Madrid curiously out of ideas.

Wales boss Chris Coleman has said that Gareth Bale is in no rush to leave Real Madrid despite reported interest from Manchester United.

The 26-year-old Welsh international came in for heavy criticism from Real Madrid supporters towards the end of last season, with fans blaming him for Real Madrid’s title challenge faltering.

He was jeered regularly by the Bernabeu faithfuls, as the player looked more and more disillusioned with life at Real Madrid.

Coleman backs Bale to stay at Real Madrid

However, despite those less than kind moments he endured against Real Madrid faithfuls, Wales manager Chris Coleman insists that the player is not looking to move from Real Madrid and wants to prove himself to the Santiago Bernabeu faithful.

“Bale is in no rush to leave Real Madrid,” Coleman said on Sky Sports. “Manchester United are who they are, but why is he going to want to leave Madrid?

“I know he came in for a lot of criticism and was seen as the president’s boy because of the huge transfer fee and he was targeted.

“I watched a lot of Madrida s games and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Karim] Benzema, Isco were having bad times, but ‘Balely’ was targeted for sure and they left him out in the cold.

“The newspapers gave him a hard time when most of the players were having a tough time. But he is strong enough and [will] come through that and I think he will have a good season with Benitez.”

Bale signed from Tottenham for a world record fee in 2013 and had played a key role in the decima triumph of Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, since then, he has been a target of the fans following a trophy-less season.

New manager Rafael Benitez has stated that Bale is going nowhere and is central to his plans at Real Madrid.
