Arsenal FC Target Denies Ruling Out Winter Transfer Amidst Barcelona Interest

Nolito has denied ruling out the possibility of a winter transfer, thereby giving more momentum to . the rumours linking him with a move to FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC, while talking to the press ahead of the Spain-Luxembourg clash in Logrono later this week.

Manuel Agudo Duran has arguably reached his fullest potential in the wake of his return to Primera Division with Celta de Vigo, discreetly notching up double figures every season. He has already added five goals and three assists to his name, despite only playing seven games and has, thus, made keeping him at Balaidos a herculean task for his club.

Even though he only answered vaguely, he appeared to have been carried away by the FC Barcelona links after being released by the Catalan giants only four years ago. However, the 28-year-old also pledged his focus to his current team and added that he could still continue to fine-tune his game.

“I try to be calm and disconnected from everything that is said about me. I am calm and I just want to continue doing well with Celta de Vigo. I have a contract with Celta and understand that things are said. I sincerely am focused on my team. I do not know if I’m in the prime of my career but I am very happy and feel good. I things are going well, I cannot complain, but I think the best is yet to come.a

Given the fact that Arsenal FC strikers have finally started banging in goals, signing a free-scoring left winger is not the need of the hour, especially when Alexis Sanchez has regained his form and cannot be dropped from the starting eleven. A move back to Camp Nou could be on the cards for Nolito as Luis Enrique is believed to be vying to fill the Pedro Rodriguez-shaped hole.
