Arsenal & Juventus To Lock Horns For Paulo Dybala

Palermo striker Paulo Dybala is a hottest property of the transfer market at the moment as host of top European clubs are vying for his signature. And it now appears that Italian champions Juventus and Arsenal are the frontrunners for the services of the youngster.

Paulo Dybala, 21, has become the most dependable player of Serie A side Palermo this season. The Argentinean international has made 22 appearances for Palermo this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists in the process.

These impressive stats of Paulo Dybala have not gone unnoticed in Europe as host of top clubs, including Arsenal, Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli, Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City, are keeping a tab on the progress of the youngster.

The contract of Pulo Dybala at Palermo expires in the summer of 2016 and club president Maurizio Zamparini has already stated it on record that it is highly unlikely that the youngster will sign an extension.

This situation surrounding the contract of Paulo Dybala has put the interested clubs, particularly Arsenal, on red alert and they are eager to open the talks with president Maurizio Zamparini immediately.

Olivier Giroud is currently the number one striker of Arsenal and the club has become highly dependent on Frenchman, and Alexis Sanchez, to score goals this season. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to add more depth to his squad next season and has made Paulo Dybala his top target for the summer transfer window.

Italian champions are well stocked with strikers at the moment as they have the likes of Carlo Tevez, Alvaro Morata, Fernando Llorente and Alexandro Matri in their squad. However, Tevez has already made it clear that he wants to leave the club next year while the future of Ferndando Llorente also looks uncertain at the club. This situation concerning their current strikers has forced the management of Juventus to look elsewhere and they see Paulo Dybala as a perfect candidate to add more firepower to their attack.

Meanwhile, the reports coming from England and Italy have also confirmed the interest of Arsenal and Juventus in Paulo Dybala.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has claimed it today that Arsenal will meet with Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini in London to discuss a possible move for Dybala.

The asking price of Palermo for Paulo Dybala is around 30-32 million euros and both, Arsenal and Juventus, are ready to match the same.
