Manchester United will be welcoming Fulham to Old Trafford on Sunday, and speaking during a press conference at the Aon Training Complex on Friday, manager David Moyes talked about the fitness of three key players.
Defender Jonny Evans sustained a calf injury during the 2-1 defeat at Stoke City, where Phil Jones also suffered from concussion following a collision with Jonathan Walters. Marouane Fellaini, meanwhile, has not played since 4 December after undergoing surgery to aid a wrist injury.

Moyes also talked about the prospect of facing former United coach Rene Meulensteen when the Dutchman brings Fulham to Old Trafford on Sunday. Meulensteen was a member of Unitedai??i??s backroom team for 12 seasons and worked as Sir Alex Fergusonai??i??s first-team coach for five years before departing in the summer, and had a stint at Anzhi in Russia.

“At times you have to believe what the manager is seeing as well. There is big competition for those wide areas.
“When I came in, I had Antonio Valencia, Nani and Ashley Young. Then we had the emergence of Adnan. Shinji can play off one of the sides.
“I have seen Wilfried training every day as well. I am privy to that.”
“We might have got him on loan even earlier but for the (hamstring) injury to Nani. I just wanted to see how that was.
“It is good for him. It is good for his development. Everybody will have a chance to see how he plays.
“The idea is he shows what he can do and comes back a better player for Manchester United.”
