Reports of FeyenoordAi??and Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij signing for Manchester United are doing rounds and the player’s agent has claimed that no truth lies in these speculations.

However, the 22 year old’s agent has already cleared the air and clarified that his client has not signed a contract with the Premier League giants. United need to bolster their defensive options after Nemanja Vidic departed for Inter, with Rio Ferdinand also leaving the club.
De Vrij could be a good addition to the United side who need two world class centre backs coming in, to replace the veterans. Only 22 year old, the player has shown promise and has had a good World Cup so far. He could become even better under van Gaal’s guidance in the coming months and might prove to be a bargain for United.
