Roberto Mancini is looking at reinforcements in the winter transfer window as he looks to get Inter Milan to the good old days.Ai??Mancini has won just two of his six games as manager in his second spell at the San Siro, and would be hoping that some arrivals in January can spark his average side to do better by the end of the season. The Inter boss is now hopeful of adding Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva and Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon to his squad in the January transfer window.

27 year old Aaron Lennon has been with Spurs for nine years now after hisAi??Ai??A?1 million move from Leeds United back in 2005. But with Spurs spending heavily in the transfer market of late, the England international has not been an integral part of the side. This season, he has been used as a squad player and has only started three league games. With Chadli, Lamela and Eriksen doing well as the attacking trio, Lennon would be difficult to accommodate in the starting 11 for Pochettino
Lucas has been with Liverpool since 2007 when he moved from Brazilian side Gremio Ai??A?5 million. He was an integral part of the Liverpool side for a long time. However, regular injuries and Steven Gerrard’s being used as the holding midfielder has resulted in the player being receded to the bench for about a year now. However, he has recently been used by Brendan Rodgers and has done a good job shielding Liverpool’s fragile defence. The 27 year old Brazilian has also been linked with a move to Napoli.
Both the players are not integral members of their respective teams and for Mancini to list them down as targets is reasonable. Spurs and Liverpool can make some money off these players (if Inter is not targeting the players on loan, naturally) which can boost them to land one or two players this winter.
