The Hero Indian Super League will witness it’s first ever final when Kerala Blasters face-off against Atletico de Kolkata. Both sides, would be looking to edge each other and claim the title of ‘The First Champions’. Atletico de Kolkata’s coach Antonio Habas was quick to justify the challenge involved in driving a Kolkata to the finals, whilst accommodating Indian and foreign players together.
“ai???It is been a challenge to fuse together all the different mentalities, the cultures and mind-sets. We have managed to play a very good brand of football. I am happy with the progress that we have made. I want the team to produce their best game in the final. We have had to grind away at times, we have played exceptional football on several occasions, and there have been moments when we have gritted our teeth and carried on. Meanwhile, marquee player Luis Garcia, who has been sensational for Atletico de Kolkata, expressed his intent towards Kerala Blasters. Garcia, who has dictated play for Atletico de Kolkata, said, “Kerala have played some wonderful football and are deserving of their place in the final. We have also been one of the consistent sides in the tournament. We too deserve our place.Ai?? It is a big occasion. We want to go out and enjoy ourselves. Meanwhile, David James was quick to focus on the success of the Indian Super League. The former Liverpool shotstopper, applauded the League’s stellar outreach.
