An entertaining battle of the Borussias:
A high tempo encounter at the Signal Iduna Park on Sunday saw bottom placed Dortmund beat a previously unbeaten MAi??nchengladbach with the help of a spectacular own goal by World Champion Christoph Kramer. The black and yellows dominated the game and boasted 20 shots on goal compared to ai???Gladbachai??i??s mere 1. Marco Reus and Sebastian Kehl were in superb form, with the former rattling the post and testing keeper Yann Sommer on various occasions. Despite the pressure, the foals showed exactly why they have one the best defences in Europe with a greatly cohesive back line. Finally, after all the pressure, Dortmund found themselves ahead thanks to a moment of madness by Kramer. Defensively, Sven Bender and Neven Subotic were able to thwart any attacks with ease and hang on to a much needed 3 points. The win ensures that Borussia Dortmund are no longer in the relegation zone and will take heart from this game to make the steady ascent to the top. The win leaves Bayern in command of the league with a 4 point cushion over second placed Wolfsburg. Eintracht have now lost 4 consecutive games which leaves them 3 points away from bottom spot.

Wolfsburgai??i??s rich vein of form continued with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hamburg which saw Kevin de Bruyne steal the show with two great assists. Ivica Olic turned in the Belgianai??i??s fierce shot following an Aaron Hunt corner in the 27th minute. A great counter attack was finished by Hunt in the 64th minute which saw De Bruyne sprint 60 meters with the ball before laying it off for the German to finish. The result ensures Hamburg drop back to the relegation zone and Dieter Heckingai??i??s Wolves make it six wins in a row to help them take a three point lead over ai???Gladbach in second place. Now only four behind Bayern, they remain within catching distance, and can capitalize on any slips by the league leaders.
