Birmingham City player Demarai Gray, 18, is considered as the future of English football and Arsenal and Tottenham have joined the race for the signature of this gifted youngster.
Demarai Gray plays for Championship side Birmingham City and he has made a position of winger his own at the tender age of 18. English Premier League side Crystal Palace had made an offer of 5, 00, 000 pounds for the player during the last transfer window but Birmingham City management rejected the said interest.
But it now appears that his fee will only go upwards as the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in the signature of this gifted youngster.
Meanwhile, the reports coming from England have also confirmed the interest of Arsenal and Tottenham in Demarai Gray. Tottenham Hotspur was the first big club of the Premier League to register an interest in Demarai Gray but his consistent displays have not gone unnoticed elsewhere as the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have also sent their scouts to watch the youngster in past one month.
And such is the talent of the youngster that almost all the scouts have given a positive report about him to their respective clubs. Demarai Gray is already a key player of Birmingham City and the management of the club is in no mood to part their ways with the player.
But it will be very difficult for the Birmingham City to hold on to Demarai Gray if the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham make their interest concrete and make any lucrative offer for the youngster. And it is being reported in the English media that the asking price of Birmingham City for Demarai Gray is around 2 million euros.
The 18 year old Demarai Gray is known for his ability to play wide and through the middle. Tottenham Hotspur currently lead the race to sign him but the interest of Arsenal is also very strong and either of the two is expected to make an initial offer for the player in the upcoming winter transfer window.
