Arsenal FC travel to Anfield on Saturday to face Liverpool FC and the Gunners head into the match with a lot of injury concerns and a stretched squad.
Arsene Wenger has a lot of injury concerns to contain with, ahead of his important clash against Liverpool which marks the beginning of a tough round of fixtures for the Gunners. The Frenchman is expected to make two changes to the side he fielded against Crystal Palace. Kieran Gibbs will replace Nacho Monreal at the left back spot. It will be the Englishmanai??i??s first start since the away trip to Newcastle United back in December.
Tomas Rosicky is also expected to be called back into the starting line-up in place of Lukas Podolski. Wenger prefers the experienced midfielder in big games, although there is also a possibility of the inclusion Serge Gnabry on the right wing instead of Rosicky.
Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain, who scored a brace against Crystal Palace in the last game, is expected to retain his place alongside Mikel Arteta. But the good news for the Gunners is the possible return of Jack Wilshere for this game. The Englishman will undergo a later fitness test ahead of tomorrowai??i??s fixture.

Arsene Wenger also shared his views regarding the prospect of facing a heavy schedule in February and March. He believes the team is well prepared to face the upcoming tests and stressed on the importance of having everyone fit and available during this period.
“When you’re in a good position to fight for something of course the closer you get to the end the more every game becomes vital. In a cup game it’s decisive but in the Premiership now every point is important so it’s a massive month for us.
“We did fight very hard until now to be in this position so let’s just enjoy it and give our best. I’m sure we will.
“Mentally we are prepared and we have shown a great response throughout the season when we had difficulties. Physically we are prepared as well.
“It depends how many injuries we have because we need to rotate and it’s important that we have as many players available as we can. Big injuries can of course question the end of the season.” ai??i?? Wenger added.
