According to reports in Spain, Arsenal FC have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for Sami Khedira, while his agent claims that there has been no contacts.
Sami Khediraai??i??s future at Real Madrid has been up for speculations recently with Toni Kroosai??i?? expected arrival at Santiago Bernabeu. Reports suggest thatAi??Arsenal have reached an agreement with the Spanish club for the German international, but his agent has rubbished these claims.
The 27-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2010 after some eye catching performances for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. Khedira has since then been a regular in the first team line-up of both Real Madrid and Germany. The dynamic midfielder has won one La Liga title and two Copa del Rey during his stint in Spain so far and was also a part of the side which lifted the Champions League last season. But Khediraai??i??s contribution in that triumph was limited as his season was cut short by due to a terrible knee injury.
The former Stuttgart star did regain his fitness ahead of the World Cup and has produced some good performances in Brazil before missing out on the final with an injury.
His immediate future at Real Madrid has come under constant speculations this summer. Arsenal are currently the frontrunners in his pursuit. The Gunners are expected to spend heavily in this transfer market and have already signed Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona. Arsene Wenger is believed to be keen on adding more muscle to the midfield and is eyeing a defensive midfielder to add to his squad.
