Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed reports of Julian Draxler visiting Colney and argued why this transfer window should be scrapped.
Arsenal have been linked with a lot of names already in this transfer window as reports suggest that Arsene Wenger is looking to add to his forward line, which at the moment looks thin. With Olivier Giroud having to shoulder all the responsibility upfront, experts believe that the Gunners need to add a world-class forward in this window in order to sustain their title challenge and end their drought.

Arsene Wenger was also full of praise for the German international and highlighted his leadership skills and how he has evolved as a player since his arrival at the club.

Mertesacker has also recently welcomed rumours linking fellow country man Julian Draxler with a move to the Emirates, but Wenger insisted that the defenderai??i??s ai???curiosityai??? is normal, and maintained that the club is not to close to signing any new player.

Wenger also dismissed links suggesting Dimitar Berbatov could possibly be Wengerai??i??s short term solution upfront. The Frenchman revealed his admiration for the former Manchester United striker, but insisted that with Bendtner and Sanogo coming back from injuries, they should be able to strengthen the forward line upfront.
