Hull City have confirmed their interest in signing Carl Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal FC. West Ham, Swansea and Sunderland are also lining up a move.
Arrival of Mathieu Debuchy and Arsenalai??i??s reported interest in Southampton right back Calum Chambers has put Carl Jenkinsonai??i??s future at Arsenal under speculations. Reports suggest that the Gunners will be willing to send Jenkinson on loan this season, with Hull City, West Ham, Swansea and Sunderland interested in him.
Carl Jenkinson joined Arsenal in 2011 after coming through the ranks at Charlton Athletic. Jenkinson, who has been a fan of this club since childhood, made limited first team appearances as he was an understudy to Bacary Sagna. But following Sagnaai??i??s departure to Manchester City, Arsenal have signed Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United as his replacement, while recent reports suggest that the Gunners are also close to signing Southampton youngster Calum Ferguson.
These arrivals have put question marks over Jenkinsonai??i??s future at the club and it is believed that Arsene Wenger is keen to send him out on loan for him to gain regular first team action, which will be hard for him to come by this season at the Emirates.
A host of clubs are believed to be interested in signing Jenkinson on loan. West Ham United, Hull City, Swansea City and Sunderland are monitoring his situation and are expected to make a move for the Englishman.
Hull City manager Steve Bruce has expressed his interest in signing Jenkinson and has revealed that they have already held talks with Arsenal.
“I had a conversation with Arsenal about four or five weeks ago to see if it was possible. And apparantly so, it might be.
